WORLD MARTYRS DAY ( 2022 ) Information by - Siddhesh Agarkar

​ 30 January  Martyrs' Day or Shaheed Diwas, is observed annually on January 30 every year. The day which marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi is the date when he was shot dead by Nathuram Godse in 1948. On 30 January Martyr's Day or Shaheed Diwas is celebrated in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi and on 23rd March also Martyr's Day is celebrated to pay tribute to three extraordinary revolutionaries of India who were hanged to death by the British namely Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar. And on 30 January 1948 Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation was assassinated at Gandhi Smriti in the Birla House. Bhagat Singh  was born on 28 September, 1907 in Lyallpur, Punjab. Bhagat Singh together with his companions Rajguru, Sukhdev, Azad, and Gopal fought for the assassination of Lala Lajpat Rai. Owls

Owls All owls hunt in darkness and must rely on their amazing eyesight and hearing to help them.  Types of owl 1) Snowy owl.  2) Burrowing owl. 3) Spectacled owl. 4) Great horned owl. How they eat  Owls cannot chew so they swallow their whole food. When they have digested the animal they cough up the bones and fur as a small pellet. 

Bats

Bat's wings are actually long arms with skin stretching between each finger. Their thubs stick out like small claws to grip tree branches.  The Vampire Bat The vampire bat's favorite meal is fresh blood, even humans. It feeds by digging its sharp teeth into the flesh, then laps up the blood.  Bat's food Most bats eat insects, etc.. Others, like the fruit bat use their long tongues to eat fruit and sip nectar from the flowers. 

Women's Day

  International Women's Day is celebrated on the 8th March of every year. It's the day for praising women who work hard every day to accomplish individual and professional goals. To observe this day different events take place including movements or march across the globe. There are some countries where women are not treated equally, so, in these countries, protests are observed for the liberation of women. For many people, the role of women is limited to household chores only. However, this needs to change as women deserve equal freedom and opportunities in everything like men. The world is moving towards gender equality. It is moving towards a balance between both men and women. A change is required and is also essential. It is observed that men have had more advantages in every sphere of life in comparison to women since ages. Potassium permanganate

Material required :- 1) Some Potassium permanganate )  2) Some water Procedure :-  1) Take a glass tumbler which is filled with water  2) Now, slowly add some Potassium Permanganate crystals in that glass tumbler which is filled with water. Don't stir the water. Observe the changes. Observation :- The colour of the water slowly changes to purple. Conclusion :- The water became purple because the potassium permanganate crystals mix with the water. The crystals mix with water because both water and potassium permanganate particles move continuously. Deriving a chemical formula

We can derive the chemical formula of a compound by the following steps given below.   Step 1 :-  Write down the symbols of the elements that make up the compound.   Step 2 :-  Write down the valency of each of the elements below their respective symbols.   Step 3 :-  Interchange the valencies and write them as subscripts next to the symbols.   Step 4 :-  Simplify the formula by dividing the valencies by a common factor, if any. If not divisible by any common number, leave the valencies as they are.
